Heater vent

My wife accidentally knocked the handle of the passenger side heater vent earlier. How do I attach it back on ?

Absolute ba....d to get back on .So fiddley and you have to hold up the slider with a small screwdriver. You need to examine the back of the slider tho because it has probably snapped the slot at the corners and will just come off again when you move it.If thats the case (as mine was)you need a new vent complete from BMW.They don't do bits of them,luckily they are not that dear.....£30 ish I think.

Failing that there are plenty of people who end up with the assembly spare after buyig new trims, especially the centre ones.
