Hardwiring - Fuse that is Always On?

I was wondering if any of the fuses are always on, so I can hardwire my dashcam to my 2011 E92 335i.

I've heard stories of how BMWs put everything to sleep mode after 30minutes or so of being turned off. Is that true?

If nothing else works, I think I may have to wire it directly to the battery, which is a lot more troublesome for me.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

search the aftermarket head unit threads, they talk about how to find the always on fuses to connect to.

Fuse #2 is always on. Google for e90 fuse box picture and you should find it. I am using this for head unit upgrade.

Ah okay, thanks! I assume the fuse box is the same for E90s as E92s?

No.....thats part of what makes it tricky, not all of our cars are the same so there is usually some trial and error involved.

I can't seem to find a fuse diagram for my specific car.

Can anyone help?

2011 E92 335i

Edit: Nvm, I found it. There was a diagram attached to the back of the fuse box cover
