265/30 19 vs 265/35/19
So I'm changing the thread. I decided to go
245/35/19 on 19x9.5 ET32 front and my question now is 265/30 is a really small sidewall, but 265/35/19 would throw the speedo off a lot more but with more rim protection. So.. which one? On an e92 335i stock suspension.

The front wheel is going to be flush with a slightly stretched tire. The rear wheel is going to be tucked in with an oversized tire.
You can use a wider wheel in the rear if you roll the fenders. With a 10.5 or 11" you'll have the same amount of stretch in the front and rear. |

If you are planning on running square wheel sizing, I would personally just recommend using square tires too.

IMO if you want staggered tires get staggered wheels. I don't think it looks right if only the front tires are stretched. |

The front tires will be taller than the rears. Why not jut pick up another pair of 245s and run them in a square configuration?

Why would you want to use staggered tires on nonstaggered wheels? It makes no sense to me. |

30s are incredibly small and after your responses I'll be going with 35. But going 246/265 on the same size wheel doesn't have a negative impact does it? Besides not being able to rotate which I'm not worried about. I'm posting here because I don't know 100% and appreciate responses. |

In regard to your question about the staggered tires on square wheels, I'm making that recommendation based on the fact that the way the tires fit on the wheels will be different, in addition to the fact that you lose out on the functionality of a square fitment. You can rotate your wheels and tires front to rear by doing this.

+1 for both of the replies above. There's no reason you can't do it, but you are better off with a wider rear wheel. For a flush fitment in the rear you'd need 9.5 et20, 10 et25, 10.5et 30, or 11et36 the rear fenders would need to be rolled for a flush fitment.

That cleared up a lot. Thanks everyone. I have 265/30 would it be a problem to run them for a year or less until I switch to a 10.5 rear? I like the look of a wider rear but didn't want any hassle in fitting a 10.5 in the rear. My mistake?

Bump
YoloSwag420BlazeIt Running staggered on square wheels until I get a new set and either run 10.5 rear or go completely square. 19x9.5 245/35front 265/30rear Continental DWS Installed monday! You guys did clear up a ton of things that I needed to know. Maybe I can find someone to trade the 9.5 for their 10.5 ET30
