EGR seized close.?????
Done a bit of work to my car (2006 e90 330d) since buying it and decided to clean out the EGR. After getting it out and cleaning it I tried to move the valve but it wouldn't budge although I didn't use much force as didn't want to damage anything (the EGR itself was pretty clean) I put everything back together and saw a video on YouTube of someone using only a bit of force to open their EGR using the handle end of a screwdriver.
My question is, IF my EGR is seized closed, am I doing any harm? There are no error codes being thrown up (touch wood) and it will save me opening everything back up again...
