If I get fuel for 10 cents cheaper a gallon I might save $1.50 according to you, I own a car lot with over 50 cars, now when I put diesel in them up it can add up to 50 or 75 bucks over the fleet, would you pay 30% more for your car, cause with your analogy its no big deal, cause that's what im saving in fuel, when you need a car, call me ill charge you more since its no big deal...

That's a little different... I worked for a dealership and we had gas cards for 1 station that we always went to. The owner/manager didn't announce that today xyz station is .xx cheaper go fill up cars there today... That seems a little ridiculous. It's the cost of doing business.
I also find it hard to believe that you would surcharge your customers over how much it cost to fill up the vehicle... Although isn't that basically included in the dealer fee anyway?

I have to put gas in them when I get them ,I wish when I bought cars that were full, lol,, its like rewinding the VCR tape, nobody does it or fills cars anymore...so when you get a car from me with a full tank I pay out my own pocket, I never put it in the price of the vehicle, im not a scum bag...

I get your reasoning. You are looking at it with the perspective of a business owner, that is usually not the case when people are complaining about such things.

Filled up for $3.89/gal tonight in San Jose, CA. Regular unleaded was going for $3.99/gal. Loving this change of pace for the moment although I know it will be short lived.

Wow... the price is going down... Filled up for $3.83/gal in San Jose, CA. I had to pay cash of course, but still... I'm lovin' it.

Gas is taxed at $0.41 per gallon.

Diesel is currently trending at ~4.05 per gallon and Premium gas is ~3.85.

Diesel is 3.99 at Exxon in Conshohocken. 2m from my house. Suburb of Philly.

Get active and reach out to your senators......

Discussions underway to raise gas and diesel taxes at the Federal level. It would be a 12 cent increase per gallon.
