I'm not the first owner of my E92, does that mean I'll have to wait for the website to show that my car is eligible in order to prove it to the dealership?

Anyone else get theirs?
Mine arrived today, as well.

Kind of a waste to send when they don't have the parts and you can't schedule an appt to get fixed.

I'm calling anyways. Just because the part isn't widely available to cover all the cars in the recall doesn't mean the part is not available at all.

Got mine over the weekend too for my 2011 335xi. Called my dealership (Life Quality BMW in Brooklyn, NY) and they said that the recall (at least for my car) was sent out inadvertently and will receive more information later…..

If anyone does get the work done please update us! Notice any difference? If so positive / negative. Any further information or changes (such as DME update) etc.

You will notice zero difference as this is just a simple bolt that holds a part on, (unless the bolt fails, then you will notice a difference when fixed) and i highly doubt there will be any DME update for the same reason.

My wife's '11 N55 stalls every fucking way possible:

1. at idle, foot on clutch
2. at idle, foot off clutch
3. backing up in reverse
4. merging at ~30-40 mph
5. turning left
6. turning right
7. when the wind blows the wrong way

It's been this way since almost the day we bought the car.

This recall better fucking solve the issue or it's getting traded in.

I see nothing about you taking it in because of the above. Has it been taken in?

If it is as you say, and you can document it(a simple video with your phone would work for what you list as it happening all the time during normal use), you would have a new car by now due to lemon law.

No offense, but if what you list if 10% accurate, it is your fault for still having this lemon and not dealing with it appropriately.
