E92 Chrome Tips - 330 tips fit?

Try twisting them slightly, like you're turning a door knob. Either tips will fit tight. I didn't use lubricant, just twisted them back and forth. You will need to twist them on a little anyway to line them up correctly so there is no gap. It's pretty easy stuff.

I sprayed some WD40 on the inside of the tips before I installed mine and they went on without a hitch.

I got mine and installed this morning. Fits perfectly, went on easy, and I do like the brushed look better. Thanks to all for their help.

Just some clarification on installing the brushed chrome tips. The raised bumpy thing on the inside makes a tight fit. After a little WD-40, they should slide over the original exhaust pipe? I tried to slip the tips on last night, and couldn't get over that hump.

does anyone know if Part # 82 12 0 422 719 chrome exhaust tips fit the '08 328xi coupe?

I just ordered a couple from bavarian autosport and they definitely look different to the ones being posted up here
