1) RENNtech Flash
2) WAGNER IC (combination of both are great here are my results 318 whp and 425 lb/tq on the wheels!)
3) DPF delete will give you approx 30 whp and about 50 lb/tq more
4) Extended Warranty(never bought one in over 30 yrs of driving cars)

Good call out. I called the inspecting mechanic and asked him if he saw anything regarding the paint when he did his inspection. He said he did not but went back with some sort of light meter and came back that yes, this vehicle has different paint on every horizontal surface (hood, roof, and trunk).

I decided not to go for this car. While there is a lot I like about it, and the 335d, I also understand the theory of buyer beware and will look to purchase a BMW from a BMW dealership. With that said I appreciate everyone's input and I will hopefully find a new 335d that allows me to join your club!

Thanks for all the input,
Chris

I think what he is saying is that the thickness of the paint varies too much to be original paint. It should be consistent across similar surfaces. Good catch. Interesting info on the subject:

When you do find the perfect 335d, I would suggest deleting the EGR, DPF, and then have it tuned by Jeff at http://www.rocketchip.com/ He knows how to tune DIESELS. Good luck on your quest.

Definitely go for a sport package though. Suspension is tighter if that is your thing and seats are way nicer.

Here is a link to the car. I pick her up on Saturday.

Sorry it didn't work out, but it seems like you dodged a bullet, and now you can start your search fresh. Good luck!

+2. You'll definitely regret not getting the sport suspension and seats. The seats are my favorite part!

Boy did I get lucky. The only things my car doesn't have is auto high beams and adaptive cruise.

Thanks to the guy who had it built for ED.
