A question about the bluetooh solution

Hi, i'm from france and i'll receive my first BMW and the end of month today i've an audi A4 and i've a question about the bluetooh . I 've choose the idrive solution ,so do you know if the phone book is stored in the car memory or if it is linked to the phone ( in my A4 you can copy you phone book in the car ). it's very cool when you a a phone wich is not compatible for the phonebook. You take a compatible phone you transfer th phone book an the you use you phone

I-drive relys on the info from the phone - for full address book functionality you'll need a BMW compatible phone.
