[CLOSE] FS [BRI] - M double spoke 225 19 inch
Hi,
I am selling a set of M double spoke 225 19 inch wheels. Fronts are 8.5 and rears are 9.5. Wheels only. Located in Brisbane. Inspection available upon request. Please note that rear left wheel is cracked and unrepairable. By cracked, I mean they are hairline cracks but developed for the second time over the years. FixMyRim and Depulu Wheels cannot fix due to re-occurrence. The other 3 are perfectly fine. I Don't have pictures at the moment but will be posting them up (including cracks) once replacement is sorted. Please close/disregard. Decision made to source replacement 225 M double spoke wheel. Mate - curious to know how you find out that your rims have hairline cracks in them??
I have heard a number of people with the same issue and I have these rims on my car but not sure how to tell if I have the same issue?? GLWS by the way - free bump. |

hi,
late last year i was due for tyre replacement which i did. it is then that the mechanic noticed small cracks developing when he removed old tyres. I got that fixed at FixMyRim So a few weeks back i started noticing the TPMS going off. I checked pressure and it was due for all 4s but particularly low on rear left. I pumped it up and a few days later the same symptom. That is how i realised that I had this issue with the rear left. Took it to FixMyRim and that is when I had the bad news. They couldn't fix it anymore. Hope this helps. |

I was thinking of getting new rims as well, but the 225's mine have no cracks, thou I got rid of those concrete run flats a long time ago and I'm sticking with the 225's as they are beautiful rims, I have ordered a couple of new ones through ECS $538us each for the rear ones and I will get the old ones resprayed.

Man I am retarded, I was on ECStuning website and didn't realise the sub menu under wheels! I thought they had none.
$540AU for OEM is awesome. Compared to $1200 I was quoted from bmw spare parts brisbane! Thank you man. That would be an option too. Could you tell me what shipping would be approximately to AU? |

Shipping was $164 per wheel as I ordered one wheel at a time to get under GST and custom fees and that's FEDEX, still a lot cheaper than buying new here.
So total cost in AUS dollars was $775 for one wheel delivered to my door, the dollar is down a lot compared a while ago. I'm happy.
