You know if you let the engine idle in neutral then put it into D does the revs drop a lot or does it make the engine labour?
Also if it's in D place your left foot firmly on the brake and with Your right foot press the throttle. Now what happens does the revs build up or do they stay at tick over?

Sounds to me like your lock up clutch in the torque convertor is playing up or failing. Just a thought

this happens to me sometimes too! I run with dsc totally off and in DS mode, in city.

Sometimes the car is super responsive, sometimes it has this lag from a stop. I'm thinking when it's responsive it just had a regen. Not sure what causes the lag.

Yeah sounds like more than traction control issues to me. I'm assuming you have tried turning traction control off for this?

Also for those of you with traction control issues I found switching from stock tires to pilot sports helps with this a ton!

Either way I always do roll on rather than matting the throttle.
