what wires to tap into for LED angel eyes
Ive searched and searched but Im still confused.. What wires do I tap into to power my new angel eyes? can I just tap into the original angel eye wires? I want it to still fade on/off ect... If I unplug the original angel eye bulb, and just tap into the wires, will I get errors? I dont think so because it will still be drawing current
Thanks ya'll Btw I have the white oracle plasma set...wanted to go a different direction. Oh, and I have LCI halogens

Depends on what his rings or their driver are rated for. The H8 bulb wiring for the angel eyes carries PWM and I think around 14V at full brightness. If the driver or rings are only rated for 12V, it would likely shorten their lifespan.

Thanks guys that's what I was thinking. I havnt got the set in front of me but to comes with wire taps and an inline fuse so ill just tap from there.. But if there was no bulb in the harness and just a wire tap would it throw a code? Well regardless I could code it out. Regarding the driver I have no idea, it's the oracle plasma kit

Sorry to thread jack...but what error codes should I expect after installing non-error-free LEDs? I got a free set, and they look great, but I get an error with a picture of a headlight and 2 arrows. Pulled the codes but they're on my scanner at work. They won't clear, and I'd like to just code them out with NCS, but I'm just not sure which value to change

Yeah theres only about 50 bulb check values. And then each one has a hot check and cold check. Gonna hop on over to the coding section and dig something up. Thanks for the input regardless! My apologies for interceding.
