Spraying 318d MSport Exhaust Tip
Hi All,
Hope someone can help me as I wasn't able to find my answer through searches I want to spray my Exhaust tip to black this weekend to match my diffuser as it has turned into a nasty/dirty dark grey Any one know how I can take it off to give it a good clean before spraying? Thanks in advance |

i know the 330D exhaust tips are just "interference fit" meaning they just require alot of force to come off.
not sure if the 318D ones are the same, but i would imagine they are (because you get black tipped ones on special editions). |

You'll probably find it has a small torx screw holding it onto the tailpipe - undo that and the tip should pull off, then try some bug and tar remover, or autosmart tardis or equivalent to get all the tar spots off, then give it a sand over and you should be good to paint.
