Blk Sapphire metallic / Saddle Brown and Dark burl walnut trim

Build date 10/06 and orignial BMW warranty ends 12/2010

OPTIONS: Automatic, Premium, Sport, Cold weather, Comfort access, Navigation, PDC, Rear sunshade, Active steering

Price $ 41,000 + shipping to where I live + TTL (trying to get to 40K + ttl + shipping)

I was wondering what you guys think about this deal? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Here's how I would approach it:

Options have no value to me on a used vehicle. So forget about iDrive, PDC, sunshade. Active steering is something that I don't want, so it detracts from the value, minus 1000. I don't want steptronic but must add 1000 for that. What you have left is basically my car except you don't mention metallic, so the car was roughly 47k, less 1700 discount, so let's round up to 45k. Take off 9k for depreciation, and this car is 36k as the 11k could be considered avg. mileage.

The dealer wont sell it for 9k off, I know, they don't sell it wholesale. But guess what? No 36k = see you later I'll get it CPO from a dealer then. 41k is pushing it imho CPO, and it's not that. 36k take it or leave it.

Thanks for your input. I know when dealers value your car, options dont really mean anything, but I have been searching autotrader.com daily and for what I am trying to get this car for target of 40 K + TTL, you dont find that price/option. Most of the time, they are asking for low 40's for just sport/prem w/o Navi and all the other options that I have listed. As long as I am not being taken to the shed, I think this is an ok deal. I still see some BMW dealers sell used 07 335i coupes with just prem/sport for 45-47 K and some aren't even CPO!!!

Any other input would be greatly appreciated.

Yes.... I drove a 335i after the fact I bought my 328i. I did not order my 328i, bought it off the lot and they did not have any 335i to test drive when I bought mine

I'd say that's a good price, esp with those options. If it was me, I would aim for 39-40k. Also, check for salvage title. You should see if it's been repainted too.
Gary

Ps. I would probably buy it myself for 41k because those would be the options I'm looking for and then some...
