Sorry, thread revival...I just called Roman today and unfortunately I got a quote for $270 for roof, rails and fin on my F30. I might still go see him for my tints though. My friend and I are going to attempt to wrap the roof ourselves but I would imagine the fin to be a bit of a PITA. Anyone have any pointers??

Yeah remove the fin before vinyling. And then tape it back using 3m
Look through the Diys. If you don't have experience vinyling you'll have a hard time flexing the vinyl around the sunroof area if you have one

I've wrapped trim before but never one large panel like the roof. I've seen people just keep the sunroof open and wrap it as usual then just cut out a hole where the sunroof is. It looks fairly self explanatory but I'm sure it's a lot lore difficult than it looks. Thanks for the tip though!!

Updating this thread with my personal testimonial of Exclusive Vinyl in Long Island City, NYC.

I went to Exclusive Vinyl (Shout out to Roman and his crew!! Also thanks Aziz for your PM) over the weekend after many referrals from friends and members here and over at e90post. After over a year of ownership, I finally bit the bullet and got my windows tinted 20% all around. I also got my roof wrapped in gloss black at the same time. All I can say is this shop is on point!! I was always able to maintain contact with Roman despite the hassle of having to schedule multipe appointments for other friends whom also wanted to get their cars tinted. Roman made it very easy for me to keep in touch with him.

When I arrived at the shop, he was not there but again I was able to call him and he told me he was out purchasing materials but will send his friend over to open up the shop, within a matter of minutes his friend Mike shows up and lets us in.

My friend's Mini was up first; he got 35% tints all around, quoted job for 45 minutes. In the meantime, we just took my car to the neighborhood beer garden (about a 2 minute drive away) and grabbed a few beers while watching the Brazil/Netherlands game. When we got back, his car was done as expected and his black Mini with black tints just made it look so much more stealthy. Roman gave him a great price too being that I was able to bring him about 4-5 different cars.

I brought my car in next and was given a quote of about 2 hours for tints and roof wrap. I went back to the beer garden after dropping my car off and returned 2 hours later. When I arrived, Dennis was still working on the roof but my tints were already done. I did not have a problem with this whatsoever as you can see the attention to detail these guys had with their work. He made sure everything was wrapped neatly and the rails and shark fin were done with precision. As I waited for the guys to finish, I walked around the shop and they had an Audi R8 in for a full wrap in a matte with "diamond" particles. There was also a Porsche Panamera wrapped in a chrome blue with black race stripe down the center. Just based on these 2 cars alone I knew I came to the right shop. Before I knew it, the guys were applying the finishing touches and I was out of the shop with a clean ride and a great deal! In the process, I was able to get to know a couple of the guys and even Roman's girlfriend who works with him from time to time and they are all very friendly and professional people.

If you ever need to get any tinting and/or vinyl jobs done, go pay Exclusive Vinyls a visit on Northern Blvd in L.I.C. you will not be disappointed! These guys will treat you with professinalism and respect as a client should be treated and they have great deals for penny pinchers like myself. Thanks again Roman and expect more of my friends to be paying you a visit in the near future!

Yeah it's a matte yellow e92 with "wicked" plates. Word of caution though, that strip of Northern Blvd is torn up right now so it's not really lowered friendly, drive slow.
