SEATTLE AREA!! Im getting rid of a perfect condition winter wheel aand tire setup for an X5. They are 5 spoke AT ITALIA wheels 17inch by 8.5inch with Dunlop winter tires. The tires have only around 30-40% tread, but the wheels are perfect. The wheels cost abpout 900-1000 new and Im looking for 350 (need the room and we sold the car) they are only two years old, i prefer local pickup, but you can pay for shipping posting this up on here for u guys. Anybody know some one who needs some winter wheels. And also, does anyone know if the x5 has the same bolt pattern as a 3 series. These would fit an e46 if they have the same pattern. |

I'm also from Kirkland and drive a Black 335 just like Johnny3's.
Does anyone know a where to get the M-Tech bodywork around here for cheap (except MWDesign)? How about any good body shops to do the paint/install? I knicked up my rear bumper, and figured it's time for an upgrade!

The M Tech stuff is hard to find I think(= i haven't looked really hard); it needs to be shipped from a country that sells the m sport models. Thing is, unless they have the reflectors in the front bumper, they aren't DOT approved technically, so Bmw isn't going to sell them until there is a NA model. You can call a UK dealer and have it shipped for your right arm. I know where you can get a good deal on the aero kit though. |

Just got my car detailed. For black cars, a quality detail job is worth the money. I went to Bradley's in Bellevue, Washington (across the bridge from Seattle).
My car had swirls in the clear coat on the hood and drivers door where I had paintwork done after a hit and run left my fender cracked. I had to get a new fender and when they painted it, they blended onto the door and hood. On black cars, you have to come back after the paint has cured for them to polish it, but i didnt trust the detail work at the body shop. Besides, after having my car in there for a month (parts took FOOOReVER {specifically a bracket for the air-to-oil cooler}) it need a interior detailing. There were a couple fingerprints on the headliner and just dust spots, so Bradley's actually shampooed my headliner The 3 step exterior polishing was a home run. They used a moderately heavy cut polish first, then a swirl remover (just a lighter polisher), and then a nice wax. All the products were 3m. The owner, Joe, gets an A+ from me. He really knows his stuff and he's just a nice guy. I asked about the products, and he was nice enough to fill me a bottle of the leather conditioner he used. It's hard to find good leather products off the shelf that are just conditioners. They are all cleaner/conditioners and I don't need to be putting cleaning agents on my leather all the time It cost me $250, but it was like getting a brand new car. You can get just the exterior for $165. Bradleys Auto Detailing www.bradleysdetailing.com 425-641-9932 |

Tischer BMW?
Also, do you have a good body shop for painting and installing these parts? I got a "discounted" quote from RnR to paint the body kit and install the rocker panels and rear bumper, which came out to $2,200! Mind you, this doesnt include the parts, or installation of the front bumper! I know they do good work, but $2k is quite pricey!

I havn't been on the forum much lately, but it seems there's a decent bit more activity in the NW section so I thought I'd join in and post a pic. I'm down in the Renton area, soon to be in Kent. If you've seen a Monaco 330i with Volk Progressives, that's me

You will have tons of fun doing ED. Where did you order your car from? You don't need a place to install your lip.... It took me literally less than 5 mins to install.... There is nothing to it. Order a lip from Longtran from this forum. I highlye recomend him. OEM Lip, Painted and shipped for $475! Color match is perfect!

Is it that easy? I've never done any actual mods on my car before, but I'd love to be able to do it myself as long as i don't scratch or mess up other parts of the car : p.
btw i got my ED order done in bellevue, my CA's a pretty cool dude so i just stuck with him (i know i could have gotten it for a couple hundred cheaper in say Portland, but just stuck with the local dealer for convenience). Heading there second week of Dec, its gonna be a blast. |

Bellevue and Seattle would not even consider $1K over ED invoice at the time I ordered my car.... So, I went to Yakima and saved bunch of $$$$. Thats all I will say about that.
