Cpe dual cone intake
Hello friends
I take the cpe dual cone kit for my 335i to change the oem box Please tell me your experience from this, the advantages and the disanvantages I am worried about the temperature, the possibility to make the air too hot for the car Although, i have reflash to the car ( catless exhaust, dp, fmic, oil cooler, blow of valve kit ) and i want to learn if i must to take some changes to the program for the new intake |

dual cone intakes (DCI) work well on this car and heat is not much of an issue because the N54 motor (assuming you have that model) runs a MAP sensor not a MAF sensor.
You don't have to reflash or tune the car for the DCI but it makes sense to as it optimizes performance and is a nice way to get more power out of your car (BMW left a lot off the table). BTW, a Burger Motorsport DCI is cheaper than the CPe version and works just a well.
