Start Button

Wondering if anyone could shed some light on this.

My current start button which looks like so.....

Is starting to wear and look tired.

My question is, will this one fit and operate correctly? Think it looks better..

Both from 3 series. Both from very similar years. Dont know why they differ and the reasoning behind it.

The one you have is an LCI one. The one you are looking at replacing it with is a Pre LCI. They are interchangeable so you should be able to swap them round no problem.

If that helps.
