Bimmer Budget Spreadsheet: Yearly/Recurring. Save for those parts!
If I didn't budget, I wouldn't be able to enjoy the finer things in life. One piece of advice that was given to me when I was young, was to think of my budget as a YEARLY budget. Instead of a month to month plan. For example: Hulu is $95.88/year along with Netflix, another $95.88. In the excel spreadsheet, you can see what you are spending on your recurring/monthly bills, altogether, and what this adds up to every year. Also, you will see how much you can be saving after your bills are paid, and pending your purchases outside of your bills. includes: % Spent: Bills % Spent: Purchases, % Monthly Spent, % per each bill & date of payment. You can also input how much a new car mod/part is worth, and how many hours of work it will cost you in the end! ...For example, do I really want to work 20 hours for a new exhaust? There are yearly projections of how much you should be saving each month outside of your bills and an estimate for 2-10 years of saving the same amount. Which can help you save for a new car, house, boat, or just a better rainy day fund. Also, it will estimate future savings based on your spending habit for just one month. One tip I recommend is calling your cell phone provider, cable tv company for LOWER RATES! Also, negotiating other monthly bills. My spreadsheet was a big hit on another forum, and just wanted to share. It may help you with awareness of how much you're actually paying throughout the year, and how much you should have in your savings. PM me your email if you'd like me to send you a PayPal link. Hope you enjoy! |
