Les, it's a job you really can have a go yourself. Not very difficult at all. Have a look at the videos on YouTube and the tutorial on here :

Disconnect the negative on the battery as per the guide and the rest is straight forward. The clips to pop out the airbag were relatively easy too. The only thing that was a bit of a struggle was the nut holding in the steering wheel was rock solid tight as it hadn't been touched for years and took me a few attempts to loosen it. Good luck.
