Lou's Custom... It's a pretty simple process. Have them cut from the resonator back, straight pipes & tips. I actually called the shop in North Reading today (been around forever) said $300-400. They'll do it clean so you can go back to stock whenever.
I'm debating going through with it. Don't care about the drone, but has anyone heard of any issues that could arise with the turbo's or engine? |

I got one done last summer. It sounded really nice imo, but the drone was way to much especially around my highway cruising rpm. I paid around $100 for the muffler delete and for him to weld on some 4 inch tips, but it was back in NY. I was looking for someone to do the performance exhaust mod, but may hold off on that for a while. If you don't care about the drone deff give it a shot. That popping and gurgling is soooo nice

Anyone have a good clip? I want to hear a delete going through the gears, not just a start up. I've heard some good starts and others that sound like farts, nervous about that. |

I think I'm going to try the Lou's in Waltham it's a little closer to me so hopefully they will do a great job as well! I'll let you all know how it goes once it's done and try to get a video uploaded as well! |

I would suggest against it. Too loud, drones, makes the car sound kinda ricey.

I got mine done at Lou's in Worcester when I used to live in MA. I think I paid just over $300 with muffler delete, 3 inch pipes, and black chrome tips.

might be a stupid question, but can I pass inspection with a muffler delete? I usually go to Wagner BMW for my MA inspections

yeah, if you get the right person doing it. The machine won't fail you because no check engine light, but the person doing it may. Just slip em a 10 spot
