Question Extra load front brakes (or any other BBK) for 330ix ?

Did some search, found nothing, so I dare to open a new thread.

330i Xdrive Tourng e91 MY 2011 N53B30 (200kW) EU specs, standard suspension

I just realised there is somehow "strange" OEM brake setup on my 3er - front rotors smaller than rear ones (330 vs. 336mms), what I do not like much. I think like upgrading the front setup.

Real OEM shows a S100A optional package ("Extra load brakes") rotors dia 348mm (+ respective calipers, of course)

rotor OEM No. 34116855000
calipers OEM No. 34116773201, 202

My local authorised dealer admitted they just do not know if fits or not....

Any thoughts?
Anyone did the front brakes upgrade?
Any other BBK compatible with 3er X-drive?
(A Performance BBK No. 34110444738 specifically notes: "NOT suitable for Xdrive")

Actually drive in summer 18" OEM style 193 and 17" OEM Style 158 in winter (but thinking like upgrading to summer 19" and winter 18" setup)

Thanks.

Hi, I have Eu specs 330XD(iesel) , My front brakes are 348x30 same as 335i or xi. So I am 99.9 %it sholud fit yours. I am looking for even bigger than those (m5) and found one thread of guy who actually did it .Those are 374 mm and they can also fit. Only problem is with bolting the discs on front hub but can be worked out with little mechanical knowledge. Some say that 535d e60 brakes have same calipers and pads only discs are smaller than m5's.
As of 348mm discs you can run on 17's and it will be a tight fit. hope this helps

well, just a short update...

35ix front rotors (348x30 Brembo) , OEM BMW calipers fitted - no issues whatsoever, not more than 2hours work

some pics...

before - styling 193 18"

before

after

even winter OEMstyling 158 17" fits, very, very tightly, nonetheless fits

a virgin ride (few kilometers at a slow and lazy pace) did not reveal any cons...

A running update: brembo pads, originaly installed, got jerky after 3k kms.... replaced with OEM BMW pads .... running smootly now..

I am very, very impressed how much the braking performance got better, I would guess somewhere close to ///M3 (on ceramics) range.....
