Angry Ford Mechanic drives around in Redline in Customers car

This would piss me off so much, the dealership here took my car on a 15mile "test drive" once and I gave them sh*t for it, I haven't had problems since then. But this is on a whole different level...

This is not my car or video btw

I would complain to Ford service center manager and complain to Ford Headquarters. You have even the recording which you can really screw their ass for doing such a thing.

BTW what exhaust do you have? I can hear it loud in background.

Just wow...and those dumbasses even knew there was a camera there! That tells you how smart they are.

They should have a way to "disbar" mechanics like they do lawyers.

Honest question: How does cruising around in a car at say, 7000 rpm, impact engine longevity?
The driver is a douche. My M3 was at the BMW dealership for a front wheel balance, and they drove it around for 37 miles! So, I know how bad it feels.

I agree, these guys should not be allowed to be mechanics anywhere else, the dealership owes him a brand new car.

This Google review tho:

in the last week - Rated 5 Stars.
Took my car in for usual maintenance. I asked if they could burn out my clutch for me and blow up my engine. They said it'd be no problem. While I waited, one of the kind salespersons asked me if I'd like to participate in the company baby sacrifice. They said it was for Cthulu, so I definitely took part. Then we jerked each other off in a circle until they brought my car back with 80 more miles on it.

These days, when dealerships get caught like that, it'll be huge news on Jalopnik and various forums (hell it's on a BMW forum now). He'll get exactly what he demands from the dealership. I'd want those guys fired too (even though that doesn't always happen).

Best part is that they got these idiots faces on camera. Priceless

It most likely doesn't, but that's some disrespectful shit to do this to another man's car.

I just saw a link on FB that says dealership agreed to buy the car from him (don't know if he agreed). Can't be bothered to look for the link.

Gotta love the internet.

I wish I had. Basically it was two dealer techs gigling like school girls, knowing they were being filmed, while driving the customer's car in one gear at redline. This went on for at least half an hour.

Their version of an Italian tune up, I guess. Idiots.

Sucks. Highly recommend everyone have a dash cam. Last time I was at service my camera was running and it overheard one of the SA's saying he wanted to take my car out to see how stiff it was. He shut right up when the tech working on my car pointed out my camera. Should've kept the file.

In the svt thread it says he was once employed at the firm. I smell a sting.
