Longevity of engine with Ecu upgrade
In terms of upgrading your Ecu on a bimmer, has anyone had any bad experiences with the engine? Did it lessen the life of the engine ?

not engine, but mostly turbos and LPFP would go due to increased stress

The engine is bulletproof. The turbos is the only thing that will eventually go but that varies some people have 50k having to replace them other have 120k and are still stock turbos. This Is the reason I stayed with my 335. Worst case scenario spend 3k on turbo and install. But u gobs of power and don't really risk the motor or trans. Unless u go 550whp up, I think there the trans is somewhat of a risk.
