aFe Stage 2 CAI

Hey guys, I just had one of these installed in my 06 330i and I'm somewhat disappointed by the performance. It feels slower than it was off-the-line with the stock airbox! So I was about to uninstall it when I came across this thread that says there's a spacer app for that: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=574347

Is this true? Does anyone still have one of these or can make one and ship? Because I honestly do like the sound and wouldn't uninstall if I can resolve the performance issue!

You got that junk one instead of the actual sealed box, I'd send that thing back and get the Stage2SI.

Where can I get the sealed one? Bimmian apparently doesn't carry it. But I did find it here: http://www.autoanything.com/air-filt...A2114A0A0.aspx.

I see the Stage 2 but it says "Without Active Steering" ... So I don't think that'll work. What retailer would you recommend?

You can find it on eBay or Turner Motorsports or straight from aFe.

I found a sealed one today. Bimmian is going to do an exchange for me on the current model. Can't wait to see the difference in performance.

one question. Are you in the UK? I se you have birmingham listed as city.

In that case for your airbox - before you spend money on AFE - look up Evoglyn and airbox mod on babybme.co.uk and maybe mentiones of it here
