That's damn tempting.
The trim pulls out straight with a bit of force. I slip a wide-bladed screw driver under it on the steering wheel side, pull back until I can fit my fingers, then pull back with just my hands and work it down towards the door. Then you can just clip the bracket over the top wall of the trim.

Thanks for posting OP.
I've just bought an E92 and I was thinking of doing something very similar to you - you have saved me having to work out the brackets. Gonna try and find if you have posted about the appradio - that interests me too. |

Thought this might be of interest.
http://androidandme.com/2014/08/news...nto-dashboard/ Not sure how the nexus 2013 is charged when it is docked. Eta, I didn't realise the 2013 nexus 7 had wireless charging! http://www.slashgear.com/asus-outs-w...2013-26318685/ Last edited by Emeye; 08-23-2014 at 02:04 PM.. |

With a little further research, this is getting even more interesting.
I found this official google nexus wireless charging doc, and it is magnetic! https://play.google.com/store/device...arger&hl=en_GB Now if this was attached to the dash horizontally, could it hold the nexus 7 upright? If so, use Bluetooth audio with a single din Sony Appremote headunit, and it could be a great solution! Eta, then I found this! http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/01...rything-right/ Last edited by Emeye; 08-23-2014 at 03:11 PM.. |
