There was no boost leak beforehand, I was reading codes with my Cobb beforehand and had nothing. Then I peaked around 20psi and heard a pop. I am not aware of any other parts that are affected by the CP cracking, just stay off the boost if it happens and ride her home slowly.

Installed the CP last night, very easy. Wrote a quick DIY, take a look if you are interested in installing yourself. I see absolutely no reason why anyone would need to pay someone for this, 10 year old could have done it. (albeit with some dropped screws)

Those were just boost spikes, stage 1 aggressive is about 10psi max depending on IAT.
I am also convinced boost spikes from the throttle blade closing is what causes most of the explosive failures of the CP, not normal boost conditions.

Yeah after installing the new Charge Pipe I was testing the spikes and I hit 21psi at one point, which popped my pipe off because I did not secure it well enough.

After securing it again I have been spiking at 19-21psi without any issue. These spikes are a little scary if I am really only supposed to be hitting 10psi max though...

Let me know how the install goes, and toss a comment on that DIY if I missed anything or if you have trouble with anything.
