LTB - BMW Performance exhaust for n54.

Hi Guys,

Looking to buy a BMW Performance exhaust for my baby. BMW no longer sells them due to government regulations based on emissions and loudness. Anyone selling theirs or know where to get them for a cheaper price?

Or is there a ghetto mod by modifying the rear silencers i.e. taking out some of the (no doubt) complex and heavy sound deadening and replacing it with perf tube and glass and steel wool. I know with my E36 M3 this is considered a good option. Saves weight, gives a nice note but not to loud, increases flow, retains the stock tips, and is cheap.

From my understanding prices have actually gone up! (at least for 135i)

I was quoted around $2000 for the BMW PE for 135i, previously listed at around $1400. I checked with BMR and their listed price had to be adjusted due to the changes - now reads $1995

Ended up sourcing a Meisterschaft GT locally through Active Motowerkes at a cheaper price overall
