That stinks on the Malone tune. I know a few dealers in the USA that have done a few 335d. It seems Like it worked awesome. The dealer in AZ wants to tune my car with it so bad but I have a warranty and I'm happy with the JBD. It woke my car up big time, set at 100%

You may wish to consider jumping on the Ecotune bandwagon and may as well do a DPF while at it. Anyway, I'm doing it, and you are welcome to butt-dyno mine when it is done and finished. I go your way sometimes to Harrison or Cultus. |

Oh definitely remove and replace with a downpipe. Tune it out of course as well. If you just tune out and leave DPF in place, you will choke up your car as it will fill up and no regens happen.

Just to clarify. You mean it will choke with a straight pipe? It's the other way around. Tune out and leave DPF in place and you will choke it up. Replace with a new downpipe or gut the DPF and you are good to go.

do you know of any shops in van that would do the removal of the dpf and tune. I just purchased an 09' and looking to get some tuning done. just wondering where you got the work done on your car since we are both in the Vancouver area.

I did the work myself. If you are handy with the tools it just takes time and a few swear words. I do not know who would do it, but you can ask Nixon or Blitzkrieg. The latter one is all about tuning so they may be a better choice. Otherwise I had no first had experience with others. I am sure there are some tuner shops in Richmond that would be up to the task as well. If you decide to do it yourself, I will be more than happy to give you some pointers. Let us know how it goes.
