low tech solution: buy an extra seat belt fastener (just the part that clicks into the end) and fasten it.

mine wont shut off. i always wear it but i wanted to see if it would go off after a while. it does not.

Thanks for the tips everyone & to the jackass from SD im actually from MA; you now where the New England Patriots play. If we're all lucky you & your car will get caught in a brush fire.

Yeah you law following clown!! They say in the city of Calabasas where i reside that you cannot smoke ciggs outside... Maybe i should follow that law too... Or how about the law against smoking weed...

Why would you want to disconnect the warning? If it's because it is not turning off after locking the seatbelt, then I would have the dealership look at it. If you just don't want to use the seatbelt, I'm not going to preach. However, did you know in MA that the police can now pull you over and ticket you just from observing that no seatbelt is being worn? Is it really worth the aggravation?

I heard it was that you can smoke, but the instant someone request you put it out, and you don't, its then breaks the law.

Three of my friends homes were burned one with all of her pets because she was working night shift and could not go evacuate them. I sincerely hope you take an inventory of yourself because that was a really hateful thing to say.

i have attempted to do so ... i was able to eliminated the chime but the air bag light kicks on... so i had to reconnect it...

so no luck so far.

i was able to disconnect the seat belt ground on of my other cars but not the bmw.
