Dension install = no Bluetooth and SOS failure :(...

Hey guys got my Dension 500 installed in the glove box but now my Bluetooth is not working and when I switch on my car it comes with SOS failure, the Denison has not been codes yet as I need to find a cider in the east yorks if anyone can recommend as my car does not have a cd changer, but will the bluetooth and SOS failure problem resolve when the Denison is coded? Any help is much appreciated.

Dension has to be powered to complete the loop.

Well is it working ?
And how abut a review in a few days?
Also do you have the pro radio or idrive?
I am looking to see how it displays on the pro radio
as in do you get two lines in the list the way it does with cd's.

Hey, got it coded today but my bluetooth is still not working and also I'm getting an SOS failure error, the coders said the car was spitting out an ULF error? Has the Denison been incorrectly installed?

SOS error means the most loop is broken

check your ins and outs of the optical connections and on the dension unit itself.

is the dension working?

follow the arrows on the connectors. any pics?

Most jumper at the input out lines for you Dension
Will tell you if its wired in right, because the error will
go away. Or find away to point the lines at each other.

reason I ask is if the dension is working and you have the sos error, then the optical cable has been looped back to the head unit, by passing the rest of the system

Hi mate, no nothing from the Denison so I think its been bypassed as its not talking to the idrive system.

Hey guys, got the Dension recoded today but again no joy

the CD section on the idrive is still greyed out and the dension is still freezing up the idrive in operation mode

, how have other people set the DIP switches??

Ok quick update Denison is in and working with the USB but when I plug a ipod in it charges but says "no ipod gu" and I can't select anything?
