Very nice ride. The 2-Series is the first BMW I'd consider i place of a 3-Series.

$6.5k for a LSD Isn't that LSD is basically a Quaife LSD?
Not sure! I stopped listening at $6.5k!

Looks perfect in white too. Don't change a thing. Maybe the wheels, but that's all!
Thanks mate! I'm happy with it the way it looks. No plans to change anything... At least for now!

Hi

If at all possible are you able to indicate what the drive away price was - I am interested in getting one but have heard they are around $100K fully optioned like yours.

Thanks

Thanks mate! It's feels more powerful than a stock N54! Same car dynoed at 220rwkw at Advan's.

Time to give some thoughts and impressions about my 2 as it clocked 1000 kms yesterday.

Although I'm still babying it, to some extent, the power delivery is just extraordinary and more linear! Think BMW did very well with the new generation of the N55! My 335 was highly modified and definitely felt more powerful but the power was violent if I can describe it that way! In the 335, I struggled to keep in my lane on WOT even in third gear! On hard acceleration from a stand still, the car went straight, fast! Unlike my 335 which used to go sideways! I'm yet to try LC, maybe in a couple of weeks when I take it to WSID!

The exhaust note is nice and better than the N54 but a little bit quieter! It gets louder when in sport+ mode. It pops and gurgles when I let off the accelerator and farts when changing gears under hard acceleration just like the A45 did in some of the youtube videos I watched, which was the only thing I liked about the A45!

The suspension is really good and way better than a stock E92 with M-Sport suspension. In sport+ it is stiff, not as stiff as my E92 with KW V2's on full stiffness!

The electronic power steering is precisely responsive and lighter than the steering in my E92 and the Michelin PSS complete the equation and add a lot of grip.

I love every aspect of the interior and exterior and I don't think that I'd want to change anything at this stage other than the silver mirror caps!

Some let downs:
  • Fuel tank's capacity is only 53 litres! (got 470 kms out of it mixed city and highway driving).
  • No oil temperate.
  • No HUD!
  • The suit hanger is useless and weirdly positioned!
  • HK sound system has no equaliser and I'm sort of disappointed with its quality. I've driven an E92 with L7 and it sounded AMAZING!

Thinking seriously of debadging it due to the amount of Mazda 3's and Corollas that tailgate me! So annoying!
