Newbie coder NCS Expert errors. Help please
So, I thought I'd have a go at coding a couple of features on my E90.
Purchased K+DCAN cable from ebay, installed BMW Tools 2.50 as well as NCS Dummies. I can connect to the car ok and INPA shows batt and Ignition connection ok, so far so good. Connected with NCS expert no problem, but as soon as I hit execute job I get the following error. "COAPI-2021 Datatransmission to ECU Disturbed IFH0010 Datatransmission to controlunit Disturbed FRM_70 COAPI-2021 Datatransmission to ECU Disturbed CODIERDATEN_LESEN" I have re-installed drivers and NCS as well as updating to the SP_DATEN_53.3 but still the same error. It looks like it has read the ecu as the FSW_PSW_TRC trace file has code in it after a read but I'm not sure if it has read the entire file. I am thinking faulty cable but wondered if you guy's have any other ideas? Thanks in advance for your help. |

I looked at BMWhat app but it won't let me code my angel eyes as DRL, iViNi said it's in development, hence the NCS Expert route. Any ideas? |

Disable antivirus software and firewall if you have one . I'm running nod32 and it doesn't allow to read/code the car .

Just in case anyone else has the same problem, I fixed it.
Just set Latency to 1ms. Open device manager, select com 1, properties, port settings tab, advanced button, Latency. Works a treat. |
