Harness for JL xd600/6 + separate amp

Would like to pnp update my hifi + add a sub in the trunk. Is there a harness for that? I have searched and searched but its always either the JL harness or the add-a-sub-to-oem harness. I want both.

no harness that I know of but very easy to do:

1. use y connectors from the technic harness to provide a fl and fr signal to both the xd600 and your sub amp.
2. split the blue remote wire to both amps.
3. obviously need separate power and ground supplies to both amps.

Hmm, this way the second amp has to also accept differential inputs? Which it doesn't... Couldn't I just split the sub speaker wires and use level in?

Edit: Wont be using JL-products, since they cost more than gold here in Europe..

How much would a Match PP82DSP cost there in Europe? 8 channels, AND a DSP in one.

Honestly don't know about splitting the speaker out signal but doesn't sound right given you need to be concerned about the resitance you are presenting to the JL amp plus you would be stuck feeding the same frequency range to both your underseats and the sub.

I'm using a JBL BassPro subwoofer, which has low pass filter, so that cures the range problem...

And since the signal is going to an audio in plug, do i really need to worry about resistance. I'm not so sure...

I don't know about the resistance part. But you will end up sending the same very low frequency to the underseats. Most people who run a sub in the trunk tend to bandpass the underseats. Something like:

sub: 20-80Hz
underseats: 80-200Hz
door mids: 200hz and up

You will be sending 20-200Hz to the underseats.

Maybe you could put some high pass f-mods on the speaker lines to the underseats.

I know what you mean, and that would probably be the best solution. However the underseats aren't really capable of producing the low end, so there shouldn't be that much overlap... Man this is stupidly complicated...

if you traded that xd600 for an xd400, you could power your fronts and underseats with it and it has pre-out rcas that you could run to the other amp. heck with the rears or power them from the head unit.
