No N55 Race Maps available, right?
My Cobb v3 delivers today. It's the very last thing that I needed to be considered FBO.
Was looking on their site at the E30 Race Maps, as I have E85 available at almost every station here. However, it looks like those are just for the N54 cars? Or am I missing something? Going to the track tomorrow night (Saturday) for the midnight drags, and am anxious to see what difference all of these mods have made. The last time I went (couple weeks back), I was almost bone stock and ran a 13.32 @ 106mph. Mod list as of right now: 2011 E90 RWD 6AT BMS Intake VRSF Catless DP FMIC with lower pipe Stett Charge Pipe Cobb v3 - delivering today Aplina Trans Flash The car certainly feels much faster, even before I add the Cobb tune. I'm shooting for 12s. If no E30 maps are available, I guess just run the most aggressive (Stage2+) map and go for it? |

You'll want to download the ATR software and read everything you can get your hands on. There are no OTS race maps for the N55 but I'd start with the Stg 1 aggressive + FMIC map and modify that. I found the Stg 2+ maps have way too much WGDC, basically you'll overshoot boost and target loads very easily. There's also not a lot of documentation on custom tuning the N55 so most of what you'll find is for the N54.
Alternatively, PTF can set you up with a map for your modifications + whatever fuel you want to use. |
