Style 230 Wheel from Manufacturer

I ordered my 335 coupe about 3 weeks ago and its scheduled for production in the next couple of weeks. I called my CA today to upgrade to the 230 style 19" rim and he told me it wasn't available from the manufacturer for another few months.

I've seen a bunch of these rims on cars in the forum. Is this something people have ordered and put on after they've taken delivery of their car? The BMWNA website shows that this is an option and I want to make sure I'm not a victim of a CA who just doesn't know where to get a part number.

Thanks man. For some reason my CA is telling me not for a few months yet. I'm going to double check at another dealership.

I can part ways with my 230's for the right price... I do like them, but there are other avenues I can go...

as mentioned its a new option...the website still has them at delayed availability, not sure I have seen anyone with a confirmed order with the 230s yet. Your best avenue is to source the wheels yourself from dealers and other vendors...

Thanks everyone for your responses. If I can't go with them from the manu I'm going to go with a different option altogether. Only paying a $1k extra is one thing but paying full boat from BMW is quite another.

You can buy them from any dealership, but you can't order your car with them yet. Circle BMW and Morristown BMW have them for pretty good prices.
