Considering rear sway install DIY...any advice?
Okay I've read rear sway DIY is difficult.
My general understanding of the process is... 1. You lower subframe 2. You remove or at least disconnect one side of upper wishbones to improve access 3. You disconnect end links from old sway 4. You disconnect brackets from old sway 5. You snake out the old sway, snake in the new, and reverse the previous steps. ..6. Maybe you disconnect brake lines and bleed brakes to avoid problems with 1(?) Anyway, for those who've done it, did I leave anything important out here, and what is the most difficult and time consuming part(s)? Any tips on reducing the time and difficulty? Any tools that significantly reduce the pain? I've done 1, 2, and 3 previously. 1. to install subframe inserts (maybe I didn't need to drop as aggressively as needed for sway?), 2. to install m3 wishbones and 3 in the course of other things. 1 didn't seem too hard, 2 can be a little tricky to get things aligned properly (and time consuming due to tight spaces on the subframe, gas line etc).
