2007 BMW 335i  [10.00]
335is Clutch with Spec Flywheel ?'s

fixing to order the 335is clutch

looking at putting in a alluimun Spec fly wheel, they are a couple hundred dollars less then a stock bmw flywheel


has anyone done this? or used a non bmw flywheel with the 335is clutch

M my buddy is using aluminum one on his 600wtq+ 335i with the IS clutch. They're is chatter though just so you're aware.

Aluminum= lighter
Steel = heavier.
The way I understood it from reading about the differences, Aluminum will be slightly faster acceleration, but steel will hold more energy if you power shift and has much less chatter. Dual mass also helps on chatter but can't be resurfaced. Personally, I hate chatter so it's steel all the way for me. Did aluminum once. Never again on a non track car.

just want to make srue they will work together
