Hey guys i just ordered the akrapovic evo ss full system for my e90 335i n54
I also have cpe cl dps
Im coming from a custom straight pipes with stock resonator in place everything else is chopped off n replaced with a straight pipe.
i had it for like 3 months and hate it lol drones from 2k to 4k and cold starts r super loud....
Does anyone have any experience with the akra ss n cl dps?
I watched few videos but they were all n55s...
I know with stock dps its not loud at all but how about with cl dps?
I will update thread with pics n videos when its installed

I have the Akrapovic Evo SS with High-flow Catted DP's.

I would only recommend to install the Akra mufflers. The full Evo set drones even with stock DP.

The only way around the drone is similar to what you have done, to cut and weld in the stock resonators with the Evo system.

Personally, if I could redo it again, I would only do the mufflers and keep the stock mid-pipes and resonator. This will guarantee no drone.

Well my akra order got canceled turns out akra discontinued the ss evo for the e90 335i so instead i got a corsa race full system

Looks great man. Anything that ditches a true dual will be a win on an I6 motor.

thanks man,i had the stock dual completely straight piped and i can't explain how bad it sounded lol,drone rasp u name it
this one has a flex pipe close to dps,small resonator in the middle and dual mufflers so well see how it sounds with the cps dps

This might be an idiotic question, but are the parts welded together or do they come with something to attach them together?

the came with some sort of exhaust clamps,gonna use exhaust sealer also...

looks identical to the hpf except that corsa has dual mufflers vs no mufflers on the hpf

I'm running on Akrapovic N54 downpipes and AA downpipes at one time, together with akrapovic evolution exo.

I don't feel any drone in my car, although given that front and mid is catless only leaving the rear on cat on axle-back.

Sounds are good, not too loud like esiemann race, good basey sound when idle, and have a slight roar when revs above 3k. But the coldstart is a bit loud though, because of the catless d/ps.
