First time Zaino-ed

I did it... It was PITA... OMG...

Ok. here is what I've done.

1. washed car with DAWN.
2. Dried
3. Applied and buffed Z-PC by hand
4. Applied and buffed 1st coat of Z-5/ZFX
5. Reapplied and bffed 2nd coat of Z-5/ZFX
6. Applied Z-2 and let it haze for overnight
7. Buffed Z-2.

and.... it looked amayzing...

I'm planning on doing car wash tomorrow.

should I do Z-6 after drying? or just dry the car and leave?

It doesn't matter, Z6 is just a quick detailer, so use it if you have streaks after drying. Otherwise don't bother.

You can use Z6 or Z8 after washing to maintain between detailing sessions. I would defintiely finish with the Z6 after washing... it will also reduce dust cling.

So, Z6 is just like QC. I got it.

and for the Z-PC part. Yes, it was really really PITA.

I applied it by hand. Front to back and up and down motion for entire car.

I waited about 30 min. and buffed.

That shit wouldn't buffed easily. It was hardest exercise I've ever done.

but! it was really worth it. it moved most of fine swirs and some scratches.

after that, Z-5/ZFX was pretty easily buffed.

You really need strong arms to Zaino your car.

Just an fyi zzinco79 - leaving ZPC on doesn't do anything. It's an abrassive, rub it in then buff off. Z2/Z5 are different, those are sealants, so apply, let haze (30 min) then buff off.

is there a reason why some people prefer to NOT use ZFX on their last coat? is it better bonding since it's on there longer?

Because they don't have to. ZFX helps the previous coats dry faster so you can layer more coats.
