Number 11 in that drawing is responsible for boost control which is pre-TB. According to Shiv, #8 (the pressure sensor in the manifold) measures vacuum and only a few PSI boost. #11 (the TMAP) sensor only reads boost, most likely a Gage pressure sensor.
