imfo from the us site regarding paddle shifting in d and d/s mode with model change dates.

The junction box terminals 35 and 52 has different circuitry based on production date, changing at 03/07 and then again at 09/07. 03/07 production just about corresponds to the proven production cutoff for D-shifting ability.

Does that mean prior to 03/07 will allow or wont allow paddle shift in D mode?

any e90/e91 manufactured dated before 03/07 with retro fit paddles fitted will not work in D auto mode only D/S mode, post 03/07 should work in both D auto and D/S mode.
