BMS SSK help
Pretty straight forward. Installed the BMS SSK in tonight and need a little help/insight. Overall, process wasn't too bad..getting those 6 screws in was very annoying and time consuming. However, the most annoying part about the whole install was that the bushings/washers that came with the kit to connect to the shift lever don't fit. After an hr or so of being frustrated, I couldn't think of anything else but find two other washers that somewhat fit to throw on...However, as you can imagine... the shifter is way wobbly and not stable. It moves all over the place and going from gear-to-gear feels terrible.
Any recommendations on what to do here? I enjoy the shorter shifts, but until this gets resolved I am a little disappointed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

the bushings should fit in there just fine.. the circlip is a pain id tri to get it on a screw driver and get it set... then force it on.. once its on you'll know.. you can always reuse the original circlip. just make sure you tie a string to it in case it pops off while your trying to get it to stay.. i lost one in the transmission tunnel and never found it no idea how.. can become a black hole when on ramps.

Gotcha. Yeah the screws provided with a allen wrench that has to be shaven just to fit where the screws are was one big pain in the ass. So after you resolved the bushing issue, did the shifter play out well? I've noticed that getting in to reverse and from 1-2 is a little awkward, but it could be because mine is all over the place at the moment.
