Any catted header dynos?
I am inching closer to headers for the 330i, and I need a catted exhaust.
I will either: Get a catless header and retain the secondary cats, or Get catted headers (magnaflow or AFE) and a catless secondary pipe. My concern with getting catless headers are an engine light, and that the secondary cats may be shot/broken up/gone and I would need new ones. My concern with catted headers is that there won't be a noticeable improvement in power. I am really after something that will give me a ~10% improvement in torque to move this sled ![]()

Supersprint and a tune will give you a nice bump but not 10% tq increase. I wouldn't consider anything else. Try to reduce weight as much as possible i.e. seats, battery, wheels. |

I have afe headers on N53 with supersprint catless exhaust. I still didn’t have it on dyno so I can’t comment on power gain.

There is an improvement but without dyno it’s hard to tell how much.

the engine light can be disabled. it's the readiness monitor that's not easy to fool. I think you'd have to move O2 sensors around and alter some of their parameters so they will read ready.
