BMW 330d M Sport Valuation
Hi there
Will be looking to sell the wife's car in the next month. Would greatly appreciate an idea of value to pitch at privately. Bought from Jason barker at birds bmw 4 years ago. BMW 330d M Sport saloon 56 plate , titanium silver with black leather, auto 71k miles FBMWSH- due a service in next month ( oil and brake fluid) Will have 12 months Mot due next week Satnav, heated seats, xenons, privacy glass, Bluetooth, dark line rear lights and black front grills. Tyres have 5 mm all round. In generally good condition although has some marks around the car. Due to get front bumper painted. Front alloys prob need refurb. Few scratches around car. Don't have time to sort although been quoted £350 to sort bumper and mini detail. Steering wheel trim peeling as they all do. Cheap and easy fix for around £30. Price? Would prefer quick sale, don't want to trade in but may do if no interest. Will get pics up as soon as... Many thanks |

mine is pretty much the same but sparkling graphite and no xenons,
I looked to sell recently then changed my mind but was anticipating 9-9.5k A local trader offered to advertise for 10,450 and put on his forecourt. regards |

ive got exactly the same spec same reg in sparkling graphite. i have 30k more miles than you though and im wanting around 7500-8k. i dont think 30k less miles will value yours at 9-9500. if was a 57 then maybe 9k ono. GLWS

Thanks for the reply. I'd say if I was a private buyer I'd rather pay the extra 1k for a 71k miler compared to one over 100k. May well be psychological, but for some reason many people are put off once miles hit 100plus.

I'd certainly service the car before you put it up for sale as well because you're only going to get people using the lack of a service as a bargaining tool. At least if it's serviced then you can use that as a plus point on your advert.

definitely an extra £1000 maybe but £2000 more isnt realistic with 30k less miles. i bet i will struggle to get 7500 for mine and its very clean.
