Beautiful 2008 E90 N54 335i, 6MT, Montego Blue, North San Diego,
This is a 2008 montego blue 335i N54 with mostly highway miles - it's now at 62K miles. Never smoked in, never raced or tracked. Title is clean, and there have been no accidents. I bought the car at 18 months under CPO with 9K miles on it and have babied it since. Always garaged and hand washed with the triple bucket system, clayed, waxed etc etc. The color is not that common and makes the car look really special. People always think the car is much more than it is. The car is completely stock and never modded. Although the warranty expired in mid july - it's still under the "umbrella period" where I believe a dealer will let you add on more warranty. Maintenance was done at BMW Encinitas during the 6 year warranty period except for this first service out of warranty which was done on 10/02/2014 at Carlsbad Exclusive Auto - 5* rated on yelp and a specialist in german luxury cars. I never let anyone else wash the car. Sport, Premium and Comfort Access options. Black leather interior with aluminum trim, moon roof, split 60/40 back seats. Because it's an 08 manual it does have the important oil cooler and it has the easily tunable n54 engine if you're into modding. It's also one of the better models for installing an LSD. Tires have very little wear - michelin pilot sport RFT all around. Brakes have plenty of life left (10-12mm at last check I think). Turbos and vacuum lines were replaced at ~50K, water pump at ~55K, HPFP has been solid since the new part number cam out , walnut blast at ~38K. All recalls complete. A new battery and battery sense lines, and an oil change were completed today. All services are therefore done and the car is happy and with no issues! Rear window and rear passenger windows are tinted - not sure the percentage it was done before I bought the car, but has not degraded. Front windows are very slightly tinted (probably stock and definitely legal for socal). Some minor curb rash on the rims that might be fixable (I haven't asked but I'm assuming it is). Front bumper has not been drilled for plates, and has some road rash as to be expected. Two minor paint issues - one tiny area on the hood (nickel sized) and one larger one on the front quarter panel driver's side that could be improved as a clear coat over some touch up seemed to oxidize and go hazy. It just needs some more wetsanding down and buffing. If you are super OCD then to really fix these to mint condition you would want to respray the whole panel as touch up paint for Montego just never matches well. I got two quotes on this, one from the dealership, and one from a high end independent guy and both approximated $500 per panel (2 panels). I'm happy to get either one or two panels resprayed but of course that cost would add on to the total price, and if it were me I would swap the bumper for an mtech and do that at the same time. Touch up paint on metallic blue just doesn't work I'm afraid as the color never matches well. It also easily passed smog check as expected. The bank still has the title (payoff is ~7K), but that shouldn't be a problem. Lots of photos because the color does change a bit with the lighting: Location North San Diego Asking price $18.9K OBO This one shows the slight paint issues on the hood and front quarter panel: Interior Wheels/Tires: Upcoming Services: On first power on - showing all dash lights work and that next service is in 10K miles or Jan 2016: This quickly goes to the default screen - 62151 miles as of today - this should not increases as it's parked up in the garage: Self check passes: Rear brake pads - 10k miles left: Front brake pads - 13k miles left: Brake fluid - Jan 2016: Engine Oil - 15000 miles or Oct 2016: Next major service - 26000 miles or June 2018 In other words this is fully serviced, fresh oil change and everything is in good shape! Damnit I think you're right. I always get confused. No car wash today as my boss made me go to work early. Hopefully tomorrow. I actually never remember which it is, but I do remember the paint code is A51 which google tells me is Montego. I'll go fix that title.
