stereo suddenly turns off

First of all I drive a 2008 335xi e90 when I first turn it on the radio works but then turns off for a couple seconds then turns back on it continues to do this until I drove for about 10 or 15 minutes when it finally stays on

I would check if your batter is good first.

I would check if your batter is good first.
Because the IBS system has the ability to turn stuff
off if it senses a low battery charge.
To verify this you might fully trickle charge the battery and
see if the problem goes away .

Tuna? The OP is stating that after driving 10-15 mins his Stereo stays on. Wouldn't that mean that the battery is charging during driving but after he parks the car the battery starts discharging or can't maintain the charge? Therefore you are correct that battery may need replacing. I wish that was my issue. HA!

Exactly that is why I suggest checking the battery

Exactly that is why I suggest checking the battery as a first step.
Also putting a charge on it may make the symtoms go away for awhile
as one way to check it.
