it's also been proven to ignore new signals once one is blocked, for UP TO A MILE RADIUS! nice... so a cop sits right down the road from a CVS and blam. I would love to have that feature (block out falsies), until there is documented proof of this being worked out, i'm still on the V1.

Hah, OP I know how you feel man, I picked up my E90 on the night of a probation class for too many speeding tickets :-P I know, I know, slow down, I learned my lesson. However, our cars are REALLY comfortable, and I don't know how many times I've looked down at my speedo and realized I was doing 40-45 in a 30-35... That's not a lot but two of my speeding tickets came from some dick cop giving me a ticket for 40 in a 30 right after a speed sign or something of the like. The V1 if nothing else keeps me from speeding. Not to say that the V1 provides false alarms, but in my book the more times I hear the radar (false or true), the slower I go, thus...safer ride, etc. etc. Also, I'm on probation (i.e. I lose my license for 3 months if caught speeding), so I just play it smart, if I'm on a long trip I just set the cruise control for like...3 miles over the speed limit (so a honda doesn't ride my ass) and sit in the right lane, no need to get into more legal trouble over a couple extra minutes on a trip.

But anyway, really back on topic, the V1 is fantastic. I've never had a problem with it and I've had experiences with K40s and older escorts and the V1 blows all of them away. Hey if you really want to be cautious mix the V1 with a Blinder Xtreme and you're good to go. The guy that broke the cross country record in a E39(?) had a V1 and a Blinder (and infrared sensors but who's counting) and he did pretty damn well :-P
