Hi all

picked up an iPhone cable for my E92... the girl has a newer iPhone with the lightning connector not the 30 pin. With the old 30 pin cable and an adapter it worked, ish, but functionality was very limited. If I got a newer cable with the Lightning connector would it even function with my 2009 MY car or don't bother?

if its all set up OK, a Y connector with 30 pin and 3.5mm stereo is the correct cable and all features and navigation of phone / ipod should be possible

if lightening only you need a newer Y cable (are they available??) or if old and new phones rather than two cables? pretty sure an adaptor works and then u can do either....

note BT is going odd with iOS 8 maybe fixed last night with iOS8.2
