Most miles put on a 335xi, or 335i, with Auto Tranny and a Piggyback Computer?
I know someone will tell me to , but every post throws out theoretical numbers of max safe power which, along with $2, will get me a ride on the subway. Having said that who here has had the maximum stress on an automatic tranny for the longest time? Some of you have had a PROcede for a year or so, so has anyone had any issues with the auto tranny or diffs of the xi AWD system, on the old piggyback? If no issues, how many miles are on your car?
I know Shiv has 400wbhp on race gas, version 2.0, didn't blow up after 5 weeks ...., but I'm not looking to push my car that far. (I get enough tickets, as is, and don't need the temptation.) My question is this: Can one assume that a basic PROcede V1.4XXX, with no exhaust or downpipe swaps, will not cause reliability issues with the automatic tranny? I'm not looking for a guaranty, just a hard number of miles that someone has put on their car without it going boom, or rattle, or any sound that makes my ears bleed. A 0-60 time would be great, too. Thank you much. --Seth |

I have a little over 22,000 miles total, over 12,000 with procede. I have had a few limp modes(mostly from octane changes 91,110,100,91 ect). I run my car hard and have raced alot of cars from a dig and roll. NO issues at all otherwise, just alot of pissed off ppl getting smoked. I love smoking guys on harleys that think that Loud=Fast!
Also my only mod is procede 1.45step, eagerly awaiting v2. |

Ops, mine is manual.
4.5k before, 4.7k after Procede v1.47, had a limp once, but is was b/c a loose hose after I reinstalled the piggy. I've got 3.8k in the first 45 days, after that i slowed down to like an average of 1300 per month.

I got 13500 on my 335 auto - 10000 with procede v1.47 havent had any transmission problems related to procede. I drive hard every chance I get
Go full throttle multiple times a day - trust me this auto trans gets a work out every day I have had a harsh 1-2 upshift since 1000 miles - only when first driving in the morning but it was there before procede & it HAS NOT gotten any worse.
